Endpoint London staff member Dan Lane, Wayfinding Designer

Dan Lane

Wayfinding Designer

Imagine a job where you get to create something new and different every day, I’m very lucky to have done this for such a long time and now at a place where pushing boundaries is the norm.

I’ve worked as a graphic designer in the building industry for over fifteen years, covering branding, identity, wayfinding, environmental, print and on-screen. This has allowed me to hone my skill at taking detailed, complex information and make it easily interpretable to the end user. I’ve always had a passion for information design, I love anything that looks pretty but can do a job as well, so it was natural that I gravitated towards wayfinding.

I’m now part of Endpoint’s wayfinding team, that not only devises beautiful sign systems but also creates spaces for people to enjoy in retail, cultural, hospitality and mixed-use destinations for clients including; Intu, Royal Opera House and National Museum of Norway.

Outside of work, I like to go road biking through Essex countryside and I’m also a match day steward at Chelsea FC.
