In recognition of the life-preserving £40 million raised through donations during lockdown, the @nationaltheatre needed a new donor board.Endpoint transformed the 'Luminaire' concept into a tangible reality, crafting it from hand-finished aluminium to match the NT’s existing architectural palette and evoke the idea of candle flames with integrated illumination. Importantly, our design was achieved without disrupting the integrity of the theatre's walls. We created something experiential to engage the audience. For a more in-depth exploration of this project and to view the full video, please follow the link in our bio.

#throwbackthursday to when our team designed a wayfinding system for an iconic department store - Harrods.Given its size and structural layout, customers easily got disorientated within Harrods. They struggled to find specific products among big-name boutiques. As a result, certain areas of the store were prone to overcrowding and staff would waste time giving directions rather than selling goods. We conducted 18 months of research to get some key insights, interviewing staff and customers, analysing popular areas of the store, and even watching CCTV footage. As a result of our award-winning wayfinding:- Over 83% of customers said the store was easier to navigate- Customers reported they felt reassured by the signage- Staff reported that the number of customers asking for directions
had significantly dropped- Journey times to key destinations reduced by two thirds📷 @_simonkennedy
