Today marks the second anniversary of the opening of the @nasjonalmuseet, the largest art museum in the Nordic countries.Endpoint was appointed by the Norwegian Government to design and develop the wayfinding system for this new National Museum. The goal was to unite four of Norway's five national museums under one roof, creating a space for classic and contemporary art, architecture, and design. This posed the challenge of developing a wayfinding system that would enhance the experience of this highly anticipated public building. We worked closely with @metric_design, who created the museum’s visual identity, and we created a bilingual wayfinding system that is easy to navigate and clearly presented in both Norwegian and English.Click on the link in our bio to learn more about our work.Or, if you prefer, listen to Ragna Jacobsen, Senior Exhibition Designer at the National Museum of Norway, discuss the project in detail and address the challenges with our Wayfinding Design Director Alison Richings on our Wayfinding X Change podcast.📸 National Museum

Endpoint collaborated closely with Arax Properties and @radcliffescc to establish a seamless wayfinding system that integrates four interconnected buildings into a unified office campus experience.Through collaboration and workshops with the client, it became evident that there was a strong emphasis on incorporating green spaces and gardens into the campus environment. This insight influenced the design of the selected routes, which were inspired by the circular motif of the iconic Johnson Building.Click on the link in our profile to delve deeper into this project.
