Celebrating six years of transformation at the Royal Opera House!Saturday 21st September marks six years since the Royal Opera House unveiled its ambitious "Open Up" project, designed to make this iconic cultural landmark more accessible, welcoming, and inclusive. Endpoint was proud to be part of this remarkable journey, working alongside @stanton_williams and the ROH Audience Experience Team to enhance the wayfinding experience across the venue. Our mission was clear: to help visitors navigate the space with ease and improve the overall visitor experience. By introducing our seamless, user-centred wayfinding system, we achieved:- Reduced foyer congestion and shorter "street to seat" journey times (under 3 minutes!).
- Fewer "lock-outs" due to late arrivals, thanks to our innovative ticketing and signage design.
- A more intuitive experience for all, including international visitors and first-time guests.Want to learn more about our work on this project? At Endpoint, we're excited to be utilising Virtual Reality (VR) on some of our wayfinding projects to create immersive 3D environments that mirror real-world spaces. This isn't just great for collaboration; it also lets us, our clients, and architects view the project from the end-user's perspective. By experiencing our wayfinding and signage in VR, we can identify potential challenges and address them before implementing the design—something that's often tough to achieve with traditional methods.Watch this space for upcoming videos and photos of our innovative work!

Today marks the second anniversary of the opening of the @nasjonalmuseet, the largest art museum in the Nordic countries.Endpoint was appointed by the Norwegian Government to design and develop the wayfinding system for this new National Museum. The goal was to unite four of Norway's five national museums under one roof, creating a space for classic and contemporary art, architecture, and design. This posed the challenge of developing a wayfinding system that would enhance the experience of this highly anticipated public building. We worked closely with @metric_design, who created the museum’s visual identity, and we created a bilingual wayfinding system that is easy to navigate and clearly presented in both Norwegian and English.Click on the link in our bio to learn more about our work.Or, if you prefer, listen to Ragna Jacobsen, Senior Exhibition Designer at the National Museum of Norway, discuss the project in detail and address the challenges with our Wayfinding Design Director Alison Richings on our Wayfinding X Change podcast.📸 National Museum
